After finishing his high school studies in Canada with honours, Dr. Danny Shawaf started his study of Human Medicine at the University of Damascus in Syria and has graduated in 2009. Dr Danny has then started his surgery residency program in the academic hospitals of Muenster University in Germany. In 2013 he started his career as a Vascular Surgeon and in 2017 he completed his residency program and became a specialist in Vascular Surgery (Facharzt).

In 2019, he started to pursue his career as a Consultant for Vascular Surgery in one of Cologne's University academic hospitals.
